After a delightful meal, enjoy a fun night out, shopping Chatham Main Street. Return to the Inn for a cozy movie night at our Inn. Treat yourself to a cup of yummy tea or hot cocoa and some warm homemade cookies. Our extensive video library has some of the best “chick flicks” such as: “Sex and the City”, “Legally Blond”, “Brides Maids” and many more. You can also visit the Chatham Orpheum Theatre, just around the corner, to catch the latest blockbuster while sipping one of their movie-themed cocktails.
Get out and enjoy nature at the Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich. The gardens feature many trails, blooming flowers, art exhibits and one of the oldest carousels in the U.S. While in Sandwich visit the famous boardwalk and grab lunch at the Dunbar Tea room. This authentic British tearoom has one of the best Afternoon tea services in the area and its located right in the center of town. If you have time to further explore, visit the Dexter Grist Mill across the street and the nearby Glass museum.
Plan a day trip to one of the islands. Nantucket is the smaller island famous for its upscale stores, dining and lavish yachts at the marina. Great for walking or biking. Everything is easily accusable from the ferry port and the Whaling Museum is a must! Marth’s Vineyard is larger and famous for the U.S. presidents and celebrities vacationing there. Home of the famous Jaw’s movie and the Black Dog Apparel, this island will keep you busy all day.
Plan a Seal Tour excursion around Monomoy Island or a Whale Watching Tour in Provincetown. Provincetown is a great day trip destination for sightseeing, tours, bar hopping, and shopping. Take a trip to Truro and visit the famous Truro Vineyards for wine tasting and a tour. Make sure you visit the nearby spice company Atlantic Spice and take a tour of the oldest lighthouse on Cape Cod, Highland Light.
